The small market town of Stalham is situated in an enviable position
for a holiday in Norfolk, providing easy access to all that the county
has to offer. It is perfect for a holiday exploring the network of
rivers and open expanses of water of the renowned Norfolk Broads, which
is England's newest National Park. The East coast is only three miles
away and offers good days out from the quiet sandy beach at Waxham
to all the fun of the fair at the traditional seaside resort of Great
Yarmouth. The Weavers Way runs through the town and provides good walking
and cycling. Stalham provides shops, pubs, restaurants, boat hire and
fishing and Broads Museum.
This recently built lodge is located on the riverside in the conservation
area of Stalham Staithe, with the living area on the first floor giving
lovely views. It is part of a boatyard complex with boating activity
all around. A friendly welcome is assured from the owners who operate
the boatyard. Day launch hire and fishing (in season) are available
on site and a rowing dinghy is available for guests' use.
